I've dedicated my career to ethically managing multimillion-dollar Indirect Material supply chains by partnering with internal stakeholders to drive measurable results and optimize profits. This includes managing costs, improving payment terms, and enhancing supplier performance, all while providing superior customer service. I hold a BSBA from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2005. For the past 9 years, I led Emerson Automation Solutions' $265M Systems and Software Indirect Material Supply Chain, overseeing four direct reports. My approach has a global focus on speed and flexibility, cost control, risk reduction, automation improvement, and building a world-class Indirect Material Procurement team.At Emerson, my department managed all aspects of procurement, including strategic sourcing of Indirect Categories such as Facility and Maintenance Services, Capital Equipment and building remodels, Subcontract Labor, Professional Services, and Facilities and MRO supplies. We were responsible for negotiating and creating contracts, working closely with key stakeholders and legal teams to leverage and improve existing agreements, executing and expediting Purchase Orders, and collaborating with all departments to ensure excellent customer service. In 2023, with responsibility over five major Business Units and 30 US offices, our efforts led to $42M in competitive tensioning and $3.8M in savings through both ES and Non-ES bidding methods.
