Besides teaching, I guided students to conduct scientific investigation / innovation including:- Using ex vivo porcine skin to determine natural substances with promoting wound recovery effect- Investigation of cytotoxic effect of TCMs on colorectal carcinoma HT29- Design of in-house ohmmeter for distinguishing Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout- Study of anti-bacterial activity of avocado- How much time is required to kill bacteria in food cooked by hot pot

- Developed cell-based in vivo assay for inhibitor potency determination- Prepared manuscripts for publication of my work in Ph.D.

- Cloned and expressed SARS-CoV 3C-like protease and its wild-type substrate- Established the FRET assay
