I designed sustainability measurement solutions that send strong market signals up the supply chain. With my team, I worked with large and small companies and NGOs across all consumer goods sectors. The work was science-based but practical for large scale business implementation.

I joined The Sustainability Consortium to oversee the technical and methodological aspects of creating sustainability measurement and reporting tools. I engaged a diverse set of stakeholders from the largest consumer goods manufacturers and retailers to international NGOs.

I researched and authored a cost-neutral five year energy sustainability roadmap for the island of Hawai'i. Strategies included technology adoption, regulatory action, land use policy, and community engagement.

As a research assistant to a full time professor, I assisted with academic research and grant writing. We explored industrial ecology, material flow analysis, and life cycle assessment with a particular focus on island economies.

I was part of a small in-house consulting team that leveraged the NYAS network to support sustainability and innovation projects including a cleantech innovation capacity analysis of New York State.
