Focus was more on symptom management and cure-by-medicating.Then when my best mate took his own life just before his 21st birthday, that was the catalyst for a discovery mission to better understand human behaviour by studying Applied Neuroscience but also doubling down on the practical ways of managing mental health and preventing serious illness developing. That's why I'm certified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a qualified Breathwork Coach because, from my experience, they are two of the most impactful ways of overcoming challenges of the mind and controlling emotion is at the heart of it.
