I had the opportunity to work as Credit Analyst at Montréal Heritage Capital, a company leader in Canada, that provides factoring to governmental, para-governmental and healthcare clients, to fulfill its treasury needs. As part of the Programme Interconnection of Montreal's Chamber of Commerce, during this internship, I had the chance to analyze and determine credit risk worthiness of different suppliers of Québec's Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS). Among other responsibilities, I was in charge to help the Company with different internal control duties, such as the update of the credit risk policy, validation of credit analysis formulas, and the establishment of an Anti-Fraud Policy. Other Responsibilities:• Analysis of Credit Risk and Worthiness (setting of credit limits, based on current company’s policies).• Follow-up of customer’s key financial metrics and collection of credit installments.• Analysis of customer’s background (credit investigation of customer and shareholders and credit references via Equifax).• Update of customer’s database (credit amounts, monthly installments, etc.) via Salesforce.• Support to CEO for the establishment of Internal Control activities.

In August 2013, I was assigned to Ford Venezuela's Finance Analysis Department, as a Pricing Analyst. My main responsibility was to determine the optimum pricing programs, at both wholesale and retail level of all vehicles' portfolio, plus setting wholesale prices for all of the park current of Parts and Accessories of Venezuela's market.Other responsibilities:• Preparation of annual price strategy of Venezuela and Ecuador. • Analysis and calculation of Transfer Prices of BU units for Colombia and Ecuador.• Analysis and forecast of Revenue of upcoming launching of new products on behalf of Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador.• Analysis, calculation, and publication of Wholesale and MSRP Prices of vehicle’s lineup.• Analysis of revenue forecasts on behalf of Venezuela and Ecuador for vehicles.• Analysis of Budget and Business Plan’s revenue of Venezuela and Ecuador markets (vehicles).• Analysis and calculation of Wholesale prices of parts and accessories for Venezuela, Ecuador, and other emerging markets.• Analysis and input of wholesale discounts (price protections) on both new and used vehicles as required.• Perform of reconciliations of different P&A accounts to ensure the reliability of corporate financial statements and to comply with current corporate policies.

As a Finance Analyst, I was in charge to establish and credit limits to the total Ford's network of 71 dealers, which I managed a portfolio of more than US$ 100 mill in receivables. I was also responsible for all finance analysis of both retail and wholesale credit operations (forecast, budget and business plan) with report to local and regional management. I also developed KPM reports for risk follow-up of Ford Venezuela's dealer force, and also I was part of local's corporate governance committees with direct report to Ford Credit Latin America.From 2004-2006 I had a temporary assignment as a Black Belt Candidate, as part of the implementation of Six Sigma into the organization. I developed projects that delivered process improvements and hard savings of US$ 40.000. I also certificated 95% of total staff at Ford Motor Credit as Green Belts and earned a certificate as a Six Sigma Black Belt.Other responsibilities: • Develop of Pricing Analysis to determine the profitability of financing programs to retail and wholesale customers.• Preparation and analysis of monthly closes, quarterly forecast and business plans with direct report to both local and regional management.• Dealer’s Wholesale credit analysis for setting credit levels to support dealer's financial needs.• Risk Analysis of Wholesale Portfolio, to ensure the portfolio was collectible and follow up dealer's financial performance.• Examine and analyze journal and ledger entries to determine unusual trends.• Maintain internal controls and procedures related to the position.
