Consultant in the Traded & Quantitative Risk team within Financial Risk

During the Covid-19 pandemic I single handedly ran the finance division of this building and property development firm. This included all investments and transactions, working closely with the directors on a daily basis to keep the company running. Organisation and time management were key all whilst maintaining the key relationships with clients and suppliers. In addition to this I was tasked with producing the end of year reports in partnership with the company accountancy firm.

Working within the Finance and IT team within a building and property development firm. Role included working in the Head Office and travelling to client sites. Key responsibilities included:• Managing a project to implement new finance account software (Xero), allowing the company to digitalise all of its accounting. This included configuring the software and teaching others how to effectively use this. • Managing the company website and media pages, responding to sales enquires and uploading marketing materials and key information• Attending and running client meetings, writing-up estimates and calculating the quotes including margins• Supervising small maintenance projects, building relationships with clients and ensuring the work was completed to the specified quotation• Various finance administration including invoice creation and management, ordering materials and maintaining key supplier relationships

I tutored A level mathematics and further mathematics whilst at school and as I progressed to university. Key responsibilities included: • Planning and delivering maths lessons, ensuring lessons were engaging and all elements of the curiculum were covered• Tailoring lessons to different abilities and learning needs • Managing my teaching schedule with parents and coordinating lessons
