Product Manager for the Speech AI group, supporting development and integration of speech technologies including speech recognition, text to speech, wake word, speaker identification and more for voice applications relating to Facebook hardware products like Portal/Portal+ and beyond.

I supported various products relating to our 360 media/VR media efforts to help Oculus differentiate itself from other products through a more immersive experience, allowing people to capture reality through 360/3D media and share it with friends, families, and the world.I supported scaling/development of our 360 video platform including live 360, our 360 Capture SDK for game engine realtime 4k 360 video capture in VR, helped foster a strong creator ecosystem through the FB 360 brand, and worked end to end from capture to upload to ensure a good experience for publishers, creators, and consumers.

I helped build, launch, and grow our 360 video platform as an engineer providing both technical leadership and product direction for my team shortly after team inception through to the team being scaled multiple times over years later.I worked e2e across upload, encoding, delivery, playback, and the end user experience.I helped build/integrate 360 videos, 360 photos, and live 360 into the FB media platform working primarily across android but also working on iOS and web when necessaryAlong the way I dabbled in a variety of areas including CV to detect 360 media automatically, ranking to help better identify engaging forms of immersive media in newsfeed, OpenGL graphics for rendering improvements, video compression improvements through geometric transformations, developing and launching our heatmap analytics as well as storytelling features, and generally working to help grow the FB 360 brand and product metrics.

I worked on the iOS Mobile Speed team and focused on improving the photo loading performance of Facebook's iOS apps.During my time there I integrated a library into the image pipeline helping to improve photo response time and bandwidth consumption.I also facilitated perf data gathering and connected different team members to help the project kick off.

• Supported the Capital Treasury liquidity risk initiatives using asset liability gap analysis techniques in a five member team for a $10B debt/equity book• Modeled scheduled amortizations of associated deal matched funding strategies in excel to analyze interest rate, credit, and foreign exchange risk for equity deals• Conducted analysis for CFO on effect of 2008 financial crisis related interest rate fluctuations on profit loss margins for $2.5B debt book through modeling various pricing schemes, determined immediate change was unnecessary in pricing methods
