Program focused on study of sense of smell, history and chemistry of perfumery. Learning accord creation, formulation structure, and study of olfactive groups. Study of creation by olfactive imitation, application, and knowledge of cosmetic legislation. Includes visiting sites of production to understand the processes behind extracting raw materials and sourcing.

Perfumer's Assistant to Pierre Negrin, responsible for:- Preparing fragrance compounds by weighing accurate formula ingredients and efficiently compounding- Maintaining Perfumer's fragrance collection for ongoing projects with clients.- Using Pegasus/Muse/CoreDB programs to import, export and finalize formulas under Perfumer's direction.- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the palette offered by Firmenich, and using that knowledge to develop accords and formulas under the direction of Perfumers in an effort to be admitted into a perfumer training program for fine fragrance.

Syracuse, New York Area

Member of research lab headed by Dr. Mark Braiman. Research centers on the expression of the G-Protein coupled Receptor CCR5 in E.coli, with interest stemming from the ability of CCR5 polymorphism that confers resistance to HIV infection. Use of polymerase chain reaction, cloning, and transformation using E. coli are all relevant areas of work under the research lab.

Syracuse, New York Area

Daily feeding and care to both adult zebrafish and embryos, keeping a log of data in upkeep of regular laboratory information for the safety of the specimen such as temperature of water and pH levels. Maintained an environment for paramecium to thrive in to feed infant fish. In addition, fish gender was determined for mating crosses between zebrafish with genes of interest for the researchers to study.
