•Transformed the company’s use of ERP by migrating from on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite to cloud-hosted Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Generated the RFP, coordinated solution selection, solicited, and gained board approval, and finally drove implementation. This required coordinating the efforts of staff across all departments of the company with outside contractors and 3rd party ISVs. The project was launched successfully under budget, and the final phase was completed within six months.•Led implementation of Dynamics 365 Advanced Warehousing module, allowing the company to break a record for monthly shipments during the first month of deployment.•Directed monthly senior leadership technology review meetings to ensure technology projects aligned with strategic activity.•Selected and deployed online payment solution the eliminated three hours of daily Accounts Receivable Processing and increased customer satisfaction.•Created modern business intelligence infrastructure based on SQL Server Analysis Services that was later migrated to Power BI. •Integrated ERP, EDI, and shipping software (FedEx, UPC, Endicia) eliminating double entry, errors, chargebacks and increasing shipping throughput by 30%.•Reduced staffing needs by migrating from on-premises Exchange server to Microsoft Office 365.•Deployed VMware vSphere and consolidated 18 servers onto two. Later migrated this environment to Hyper-V and cloud converged infrastructure.•Transitioned from tape to disk-based backup, and then cloud based backup utilizing Microsoft Azure.•Transitioned multiple e-commerce sites from co-located facility to Amazon EC2. Later drove the migration to a new direct to consumer platform, increasing the platform performance and supporting the doubling of DTC revenue.
