Current-Leading a cross-functional team to streamline the material movement process to increase wrench time for companies increasing orders of multiple MIL-SPEC cable assemblies -Working with different interdepartmental groups to set goals, priorities and schedules to meet the requirements of the government contracts that are current and past due-Training people with basic knowledge of hand tools to become IPC-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 certified by my continuous training practice standards and proper communication within a thirty-day period-Leading and researching continuous improvement projects for productivity enhancement and cost cutting processes while maintaining/updating our companies QMS policies accordingly-Ensure safety, quality and productivity goals are achieved from understanding all job standards while analyzing and evaluating performance variances in order to identify root cause and corrective action-Identified contracts that added no value and had them outsourced to allow for more productivity-Implemented inline electrical testing by setting up movable carts with the test program preset by the test technician then operated by a production person on the production floor-Increased production 60% by evaluating tooling, equipment, workstation design and the manufacturing floor layout and made the necessary changes to operate in a lean manner-Added an additional manufacturing floor to companies existing to allow for less intricate assemblies to be produced by less experienced assemblers on MFG1 and more difficult on MFG2 resulting in quicker turnaround time for customer and a higher profit margin for the company-Created procedure to have detailed pictures taken of all components used on product and their respectable operations for manufacturing aid purposes-Implemented cell layout for specific projects resulting in lower manufacturing time allowing customer to get product batches sooner exceeding requirements of government contracts
