Manage the day to day IT operations of a satellite office that is part of a global company.  As Network Systems Administrator and the only on-site IT person I’m responsible for keeping the network and phone systems operational as well as answering the needs of the employees at the location.Responsibilities:▪ Manage VM server disk usage needs and make recommendations as needed▪ Deploy updated software packages as requested by corporate IT via Ivanti▪ Perform monthly Microsoft patches to servers and clients from a centralized Ivanti server▪ Monitor Microsoft System Center and Symantec Endpoint Protection servers for issues▪ Manage network backups for all servers at the location▪ Manage the Digium SwitchVox phone system by making adds/changes/deletes for new employees▪ Set up computers and equipment for new employees using SCCM and Ivanti▪ Manage Chromebook clients as well as Chrome for Meetings conference rooms▪ Assist the labs with networking needs as they create and test new hardware and storage solutionsEnvironment: Dell ESXi VM servers, CheckPoint firewall, Top Layer Security Intrusion Prevention System, Cisco routers.
