I serve as CFO to multiple medium-sized enterprises on a fractional basis. My partners and I have diverse experience across industries and methods for long-term value creation. As fractional CFOs, we work with privately-held companies between $10 and $250 million in annual revenue. Businesses retain me when they NEED a professional to establish processes, fix what is financially/strategically broken, or take their business to the next level- growing at 20%+, expanding margins, or preparing themselves for M&A, succession, or sale. A CFO like me guides strategy, forecasts, sets KPIs, allocates capital, streamlines systems and processes, and also can cover partnerships, risk, operations, HR, legal, insurance, facilities, and IT.By developing plans, strategies, and infrastructure, I position businesses for long-term success and valuation creation.Expertise and functional responsibilities include:- Financial advisory to CEOs, management teams, and Boards of Directors for businesses from start-up up to $250 million in revenue- Strategy assessments- Capital allocation guidance and setting priorities and policy- Budgeting and financial projections - P&L, cash flow, working capital, and CAPEX- Creation and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and Board of Directors reports- Oversee routine functions such as A/R and A/P management, end of period reporting (closing the books), and payroll- Management of accounting and IT systems implementation as well as documentation- Coordination with external accountants, auditors, and tax firms- Mergers, acquisitions, and business divestitures- Exit strategy development and execution including the development of marketing materials, broker/banker selection, and overseeing buyer diligence
