Developed local leaders, including mentoring women for selection into non-traditional key positions to promote corporate diversity of thought and address social injustice, enabling the creation of Puerto Rico’s first-in-class community electric cooperative.• Program Manager. Responsible for the development, in parallel, of three complimentary energy projects for residents of five low-income municipalities: a 50-megawatt hydroelectric acquisition, rehabilitation and management project; a 10-megawatt photovoltaic resiliency project and Puerto Rico’s first intermunicipal microgrid that represents a transformative approach to energy for rural residents.• Project Manager. Planned and led a consortium of energy industry leaders through a Request for Qualification process that resulted in the Puerto Rican government qualifying the hydroelectric consortium into the next Request for Proposal phase. This unprecedented achievement places the electric cooperative as the only community organization participating in Puerto Rico’s energy transformation and privatization process.• Team Chief and Program Champion: Led team through a sequence of collective wins resulting in receiving five Department of Energy prizes or grants and a USDA grant valued in total at over $1.3 million.
