I have 25 years of employment law and class action experience. At my firm, we have resolved 20 cases—14 class actions, 5 PAGA actions, and 1 individual arbitration—for over $3 million each. Since 2007, we have been lead counsel in more than 750 class, collective or PAGA actions that resolved from $250k to $14 million each for more than 500,000 workers. We routinely settle cases collectively amounting to $40m per year for tens of thousands of workers. We have obtained class certification in 8 contested class certification motions, including one in 2018 for 3,800 truckers in a wage/hour case, and another in 2017, in a rest break case for 540 drivers that settled for $2.95m. In 2016, after 7 years of litigation, we obtained a $1.2m fee award on a contested motion where the total recovery to the class was over $3.3m. In the early 2000's, I was second chair on a $23.5m settlement for 150 women in what was then the 2nd largest sexual harassment case in US history. In 2020, we settled a racial harassment case for $1 million on behalf of 27 African American workers. In 2021, we settled a racial harassment case for $1.3 million on behalf of 19+ African American construction workers. In 2022 and 2023, we settled a 7 plaintiff sexual harassment case for $1m and a 5 plaintiff racial harassment case for $625k. I have successfully tried Title VII cases to jury verdicts, including in federal court. In 2024, we were co lead counsel in a case alleging illegal on premises rest breaks against a major grocery chain that settled for just under $14m. We recently resolved a nurse meal and rest break class action in Washington state for $9m on behalf of several thousand nurses.In addition to restaurant workers, construction workers, truckers, nurses, factory workers, hotel workers, adjuncts, and tech/entertainment workers, we represent C-suite executives in private equity and fortune 1000 companies in employment contract and stock option cases, severance negotiations, gender discrimination class actions and high-stakes litigation.Moreover, as a private mediator for employment cases since early 2022, I bring 25 years of employment law experience to the table, on both sides of the aisle, in my efforts to resolve complex employment matters practically and efficiently.
