A significant member of the senior leadership team I am responsible for all aspects of development of orienteering and managing a team of development officers and volunteers have led a significant increase in participation. Since 2017 I have taken on responsibility for talent and performance.

As part of the governing body I contributed to the effective management of an outstanding school by driving high expectations and providing strategic direction through a significant change in the school which doubled in size both in pupil numbers and facility. I was involved in the recruitment of the new Head Teacher who has continued the high standards set.

Working for a Leading Sports Charity, GreaterSport, Changing Lives through sport I was the first point of contact for new relationships with National Governing Bodies (NGB) as well as developing and managing existing relationships. I secured significant investment for sport in Greater Manchester and ensured it was effectively and efficiently utilized through partnership working with National Governing Bodies, Local Authorities and other partners.

My role involved assisting National Governing Bodies (NGB) to deliver their Whole Sport Plans in the Greater Manchester Area, this included club development, volunteering and any extended services requested by an NGB.

I developed a London 2012 legacy programme to engage young people in sport across the borough.
