Craig joined Thiess Services in April of 2014 as national Submissions and Facilitation Manager. Based in Thiess Services' Head Office in Brisbane, Craig worked closely with senior executives interrogate and manage the production of key strategic opportunities, submissions and tenders nationally. Working with diverse professionals across different business streams, Craig took on a variety of roles helping facilitate submission teams to develop winning strategies, and then working with individuals - from General Managers to operations staff - to help develop key messages, identify differentiators within the offer, write content and produce winning submissions that articulated and aligned with client values. Craig's appointment to this role was initially as part of a new team developed at Thiess Services to help further develop the organisation's approach to winning work. This included developing, establishing and supporting standards and processes new to the business that complimented existing skills and procedures, as well as developing and maintaining a library of marketing materials and resources for use across the business.Craig’s role changed during the sale of Thiess Services and the following integration with Leighton Contractor Services. Craig took on the role of National Communication Manager for Thiess Services during the period of restructure and change in ownership. This role focussed on working with the senior executives to develop communication strategies and implement plans for internal and external communications during this time of change. Following the sale of the business, Craig joined the Integration Team as Communication Manager, during the crucial early period of the Thiess-Leighton integration. With the new combined organisation, Ventia, establishing the Head Office in Sydney, Craig commuted interstate weekly from Brisbane working in the Integration Team until the appointment of Ventia’s Communication Manager.

Launch Editor and Managing Editor for this start-up magazine for the sport of volleybal.Worked closely with the owners and financial supports to develop the concept, promotional material and editorial direction for the start-up of this colour, full-gloss magazine.Worked closely with key stakeholders in the sport, including participants, associated industry figures and organisation executives.The success of the magazine was evident after it was bought by a multi-national sports organisation and promotional company, rolled in to their stable of sports promotional tools.

Launch Editor for Education Review: a monthly, niche publication for the secondary school sector produced by APN News and Editor.Responsibilities include setting editorial direction for the launch, working with the advertising team to establish attractiveness of the publication in the market place, and meeting with secondary school sector resprentatives.The newspaper was a success, making a profit within 14 months.Achievements included winning writing and editing from the journalism sector, as well as editing awards from the education sector.
