Established Regional hub for HRSS across APAC region. Embedded the HRSS operating model, integration of India operations and the transfer of services from Hong Kong to Singapore;Undertook full reconstruction of Asia HRSS operations to turn around 4 disparate non performing HRSS operations into successful regional hub;Led operational delivery of the Asia shared services organisation including but not limited to – accountability for HR, Payroll, Learning, Resourcing administration, regulatory and compliance for all in scope businesses primarily in India, Singapore and Hong Kong;Responsible for setting and delivering against the regional HRSS strategic plan and leading the planning and design of the operating model for HRSS Asia to drive optimisation of service channels ensuring that services and processes within the region meet the business need;Accountable for the implementation of both tactical and longer term shared services solutions for the Region including: PeopleSoft, case management tools, learning systems, resourcing systems, telephony enhancements, self service and outsourced services;Manage annual payroll of SGD 1Bn and regional operational budget of SGD 10M;Outsourced payroll function in Hong Kong and aligned Singapore payroll with regional supplier generating cost efficiencies and reduction in risk. Transitioning India payroll to one single vendor;Ensure management of contracted HR suppliers and of service delivery to defined SLA’ s and within the groups prescribed risk and financial processes;Continuous service improvement through operational performance against continually stretched KPI targets;Identification and management of risks across HRSS, with clarity of top 5 risks including improved first line of defence and line management ownership and accountability;Management of a regional team of shared service staff, 150 employees, covering annual objectives, personal development plans, talent and succession management
