My objective is to obtain a challenging and rewarding position utilizing my extensive experience in mechanical, troubleshooting skills and Leadership experience. I’ve been working in the aviation field for over 30 years beginning with my service in the U.S. Navy as a Jet Engine mechanic. I continued my aviation career by acquiring my A&P License and working in all aspects of Corporate aviation. I have been engaged in and experienced in Airframe and Engine maintenance, team leader, tech rep, training instructor, quality assurance, field service supervisor, shop supervisor, shop manager and assistant DOM of aircraft management for Gulfstream G150, G200, G280 and Cessna Citation XLS Plus. My experience entails strategic planning, budgeting, operating expenses, project management, department management, professional development, recruiting and hiring. I am a hands-on Manager/Leader that believes in leading by example. I am able and have proven the ability to connect and communicate with individuals at all levels throughout the organization. I think it’s crucial for a leader to connect with their team on a regular basis to communicate the daily, weekly and monthly goals. I believe it is my responsibility to set my employees up for success and that honesty, integrity, teamwork and attention to detail are crucial. I have experience in ISO 9001, creating process & procedures and new business shop set-up and operations. Member of the maintenance board for the Gulfstream G-280 MSG-3 steering committee. My OEM training includes several Gulfstream aircraft, Honeywell APU, Honeywell, Pratt & Whitney, General Electric Turbine Engines, Run & Taxi, University of Southern California Human Factors / Safety Management Systems / Gas Turbine Accident Investigation Education and more aircraft related training.
