I’m presently transitioning into a career as an IT Service Desk Analyst after spending years honing my customer service and communication skills in the service industry. I wish to utilise my experience and skill sets to assist others in making their jobs simpler and easier in a technical support role. My passion for customer service, problem-solving and technology is what’s led me to pursue a career in IT support. I believe that IT Service Desk Analysts are vital for the success of any organisation in the modern world as they use their technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure that the company runs smoothly and efficiently on a day-to-day basis. My ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever changing environments provides me confidence that I’ll be successful pursuing this new career path.Throughout my career I’ve steadily developed my technical knowledge and customer service skills. In my past roles as a Call Centre Advisor I had contact with a variety of people from all walks of life. Be it tenants, customers, or fellow employees of the companies I’ve worked for, I had to develop excellent communication and problem-solving skills in order to address their issues in a timely and effective manner. The Generation IT Bootcamp provided me the opportunity to further develop my technical skills with comprehensive training in all aspects of IT, advancing my ability to diagnose malfunctioning hardware, troubleshoot software problems, and resolve network issues. Skills I would continue to develop in an IT SDA role. As a quick student who excels in high pressure situations, I'm excited about applying my problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced service desk environment. I'm eager to contribute by efficiently resolving IT issues, providing clear and helpful guidance, and enhancing user satisfaction. My strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable me to build rapport with users and effectively manage their enquiries. My ability to quickly analyse problems, communicate effectively, and learn new systems and technologies will be invaluable in delivering exceptional support.
