In my current role, I lead systems design and architecture for Enterprise Customer Remediation and Conduct Management Products, including designing a Root Cause Analysis workflow application and implementing target architecture. Partner with engineering teams, business teams, and stakeholders to build custom solutions using Agile methodologies. Some Key Accomplishments Include:• Led the team for the Wells Fargo Enterprise Architecture transformation by functioning as an evangelist for new application modeling standards and documentation, which was instrumental in developing the company’s Banking Product and Platform Architecture.• Designed transitional system architecture for the Root Cause Analysis application that allowed the engineering team to deliver the system within a few months and allowed the bank to meet a consent order timeline set by federal regulators.

I engaged with 50+ application components, server config, web services, file transmissions, DB structure, the Spring Framework, and Quartz scheduling. Led 6 offshore developers in the SCRUM team. Mentored junior and senior engineers on the team. Served as the primary escalation resource for the team to resolve technical challenges.Some Key Accomplishments Include:• Designed and developed a proof-of-concept application with a React front-end and Java Spring Boot REST service back-end, which was used to show how a standard application stack could be created to modernize the 20-year-old cash vault suite of applications.• Transitioned the development team to Agile SCRUM, utilizing Jira and Confluence, which resulted in faster delivery and greater team accountability.• Delivered the GitHub branching strategy for the team by reorganizing 50+ repositories and mentoring the team on how to commit and handle pull requests.• Redesigned status messaging for the posting application that processes all cash vault transactions. This application is responsible for posting over $1B per day to downstream systems, allowing the production support team to resolve issues that impacted posting and determine the exact location of the issue in the process.• Created a new process for deploying all cash vault components to production, including new Jenkins, Artifactory, and IBM UrbanCode Deploy configurations, and mentored the team on how to use the new configuration for deployment. This allowed the application to be automatically deployed with the enterprise CI/CD pipeline for faster and easier implementations.

In this role, I led a team of 9 developers, both onshore and offshore, in the development of a debit card claims system. Conducted lead code reviews, secure coding analysis, and branch merges, ensuring code quality and adherence to standards. Developed Oracle PL/SQL triggers to facilitate reporting data for downstream applications, improving data availability.Some Key Accomplishments Include:• Successfully deployed production-ready code within a 3-week schedule, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.• Pioneered the establishment of an Agile team, fostering efficient and collaborative development practices.• Employed multi-threaded Java processing to address performance issues in the claims data enrichment process. This allowed the system to process 10 times more transactions per second resulting in more throughput and faster response times.• Designed and implemented a Java library to match debit card transactions across multiple source systems, enhancing data accuracy. This design was used across multiple applications and provided the ability for those applications to send the correct data to downstream systems.• Engineered an enterprise services availability dashboard using HTML5 and Bootstrap, facilitating efficient testing support for the application team.• Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills by developing an HTML5 application for image redaction using the Canvas element and jQuery.• Led the creation of an IBM Sterling Connect Direct web service, enabling seamless file exchange between applications through SOAP service calls.
