Responsible for effectively planning, organizing, leading and controlling the Operations Department of this national moving and storage branch. Help in the recruiting drivers for local and long haul transportation of household goods. Conduct training of personnel to ensure that high standards of company policies and procedures are achieved. Responsible for the dispatching of local crews (that handle our HHG's and commercial moves) and oversee the warehouse operations. Make paperwork for local crews, and then look over the turned in paperwork before it goes to the account department, also scan completed paperwork to various offices as needed. In the the warehouse I have implemented procedures for a vault locator and commercial racking system. Facilitate regulatory enforcement and safety compliance to meet government and company requirements.

Travel to various locations to help with warehouse set up and policies to be able to track and organize the warehouse. This was before the computer tracking systems went it. I was able to help organize and implement polices to avoid claims and misplaced loose items in the warehouses.

Helped open the satellite office for First Class Moving systems in South Florida (helped organized the warehouse layout, office files, get military approval for warehouse, pass fire inspections, and generally set up the local operations). Processed the local paperwork, oversaw the warehouse (all in & outbound warehouse receiving reports), entered the time cards for employees, did local dispatching, helped the fleet manager with all over the road drivers (in whatever was needed), scanned all paperwork to get in on timely manner, recruited local contractors, and oversaw the operations of the warehouse, equipment, and facilities.
