Worked in a development team on creating new features, as well as commissioning new equipment for one of our customers. In addition to resuming support duties, learning more about how communication is handled throughout the Warehouse Management System. Learned more about Java development techniques in a professional environment (including multithreaded programming), working with version control systems (CVS, SVN, and Git) and bug ticketing software (JIRA).

Worked with customers on a 1st level support helpdesk to resolve various issues with live warehhouse environments. Developed and utilised many skills with bash, and started to learn the interactions with various Java components found in our products.

Gained an insight to the software security world. Learned how to perform penetration tests and write detailed reports. Understood the best coding practices to help make software less insecure. I also assisted in developing tools for penetration tests (including starting to write one of my own), and creating internal web applications in order to increase the efficiency of the company.

Helped implement a new UI to improve their current website using Java EE
