Damsel + Sprout is the brainchild of Ash and Craig.While side-by-side they have planned fun parties, kept the gears turning in radio stations, organised big epic events, scheduled yummy dinners and busted out dance moves.So, it was the logical next step to let their powers combine (just like the kids on Captain Planet) and focus entirely on what they both loved most… events, any type of event – they love them all! Ash is the damsel. She is surprisingly petite. Loves a bit of reality TV. Once wanted to be Posh Spice. Has two little kids. She gets immersed in social media. Has a strange fascination with baby names. Craig is the Sprout. He loves a live concert. Does not love the spotlight. He was a head chef. Thinks a crumpet is a perfectly good breakfast as long as it’s well cooked. Has as a beard that hides his boyish looks. He knows the lyrics to many rap songs.Together they are a great team. They are people persons and are doing what they really are passionate about.They’re young, determined, practical, creative, across the latest trends and dare we say it… on fleek?Whatever event you have, they’ll make sure your memories are made, your stress levels are low & it’ll be talked about for years to come!

Coordinate and organise all facets of the Canberra Santa Pub Crawl. From liaising and negotiating deals with each bar, maintaining a positive relationship with all bar staff, security and management on the night, ticketing & money handling, event set up, partnering and building a positive relationship with the Cancer Support Group, marketing and social media of event, managing the event on the day & follow up with each bar post event. With almost 400 people in attendance last year we were able to raise $2000 for the Cancer Support Group. With a zero anti social policy we have had no trouble with any of our patrons at any bars. During all post event talks, each bar expressed their delight at having us and welcomed the Canberra Santa Pub Crawl back for the following years.

- Planning & execution, from brainstorm to event of both minor & major station tactics across both stations, 104.7 & 106.3, including Scotty & Niges Battleships & 104.7’s Skyfire.- Writing weekly casual rosters & managing all casual staff including inputting time sheets.- Writing terms & conditions, applying for gambling & racing & land use permits.- Fluent competency in Audacity for all air checks & Link Studio.- Writing of proposals & Post Campaign Reports & delivering them in a timely manner.- Maintaining a professional appearance on behalf of both stations at all station outside broadcasts, special activities, roadshows & events. - Training new staff in procedures of promotional vehicles.- Commercial voiceovers. - Hosting movie premieres for both stations.- Hosting store openings & sales- Booking site checks with clients, set up & maintenance of the smooth running of outside broadcasts.- Preparing all paperwork & information for announcers at outside events.- Training new staff in procedures for outside broadcasts & road shows.- Planning & execution of 104.7’s Skyfire 2013 & 2014 including liaising on the day with artists & managers, Emergency services personal, General public, Key members of the community & Canberra FM staff.- Writing all promotional briefs and jox memos for all campaigns across both stationsAchievments in the role:- Took on the acting role of Senior Campaign Coordinator in 2013 while colleague was on maternity leave.- Took main carriage of work in 104.7’s Battleships major survey tactics during this period.- Received off –air staff member of the year for 2013.- Helping raise over $100k every year for each of the stations chosen charities.
