I'm currently the Principal Ecologist and Director for Boobook, which specialises in flora and fauna surveys and related terrestrial ecological assessments in the Surat and Bowen Basins. I am also a leader for local research expeditions and for Boobook Explore small group ecological tours.I've conducted ecological assessments for a range of infrastructure projects associated with renewable energy projects and coal seam gas extraction and production including wells, flow lines, gas plants, access tracks, quarries, major pipelines and evaporation ponds. My objective is always to give the most thorough and evidence-based reports that serve both client obligations and the protection of our precious biodiversity.I've also carried out impact and biodiversity assessments for numerous roads throughout southern inland and western Queensland and undertaken environmental assessments for infrastructure such as fibre optic cable and powerline easements.My projects include working with traditional owner groups, private landholders and non-government organisations to achieve a world where humanity and nature can thrive in harmony.
