• Development and co-ordination of effective Information Governance (IG) within the organisation and with partner organisations.• The effective management of information security across the organisation.• The development, maintenance and delivery of the IG and IS programmes, including all areas of BS7799 and ISO20071, the Data Protection Act 1998, the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Caldicott requirements, Information Sharing Processes and other related legislation and guidance.• Ensuring the organisation successfully manages the risk associated with IG / IS through Trust wide standards and compliance with those standards.• Providing advice and guidance to members of staff and other stakeholders on IG / IS matters.• Leading on Records Management, Information Risk Management Strategy and Data Leakage Prevention for the Trust.

My current role is to meet the information needs of the core business of the Trust, and fulfill the reporting requirements of our key internal and external stakeholders. In addition, I am required to carry out a wide range of bespoke analysis including: -Design, production and development of statistical information analysis to executive managers. -Relational Database Administration Capacity Planning and Modeling. -Producing high quality data analysis, activity modeling and Performance management information. -Monthly and Quarterly K34 Returns. -Analysing and Reporting Trust Key Performance Indicators. -Developing Trust Performance Statistical Reports. -Training individuals to use Trust Information Systems i.e. Query IT. -Communicating and presenting information to all internal and external stakeholders. -Develop reports for internal and external stakeholders to use on an ad hoc basis. -Activity demand modeling and forecasting; predicting when and where to place resources in readiness for the next 999 call. - Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis such as deployment planning, identifying activity hot spots, and mapping to assist management decision making. - Area profile reports including demographics, call type trend analysis, and areas of high demand.
