I have more than 38 years of experience in investment, retirement, wealth transfer, and business succession planning for high-net-worth families, individuals and business owners. My mission is to help clients grow and preserve wealth over multiple generations. I build long term client relationships based on trust, sound professional advice and impeccable service. While I do not provide legal or tax advice, I work closely with client's attorney and tax advisors to help ensure that all financial and legal issues pertaining to clients are integrated into their wealth and estate plan. My process could be best described as goals-based wealth planning where I invest the time to thoroughly understand clients current and future financial position. I gather information about their entire financial picture and rank their most important goals from retirement, charitable, to education for children and grandchildren. I use Monte Carlo simulation to determine the probability of achieving their goals over their lifetimes. Holding the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation., I have extensive experience in assisting clients with planning for their retirement, designing and implementing private pension plans, and structuring split-funded defined benefit plans for very high-income clients and their business partners. I structure life insurance plans not only for income replacement but also for business succession plans, executive benefit plans and for estate taxes using irrevocable trusts.I have a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance from Temple University. I am married with three children and live in Malvern, PA with my wife, Maribeth of 49 years. I am an active member or Paoli Presbyterian Church and very involved in the North American Hunting Dog Association. In my free time, I enjoy training and hunting with my German Pointers, COZ and DEX. And of course, my 6 grandchildren.
