Data analysis and simulation in Matlab.β’ Designed microfluidic chamber for laser tweezers for spatiotemporal control of 4 solutions.β’ Designed 30-kbp DNA bearing three different haptens, with near-100% yield: required plasmid and phagemid engineering; extreme-difficulty PCR, and modified nucleotide chemistry.β’ Collaborated with molecular biologists to design, label and purify viral protein and RNA mutants. Created protein variant library, designed and performed in vitro footprinting and ATPase activity assays, and fluorescence anisotropy assays.β’ Constructed a combined polarization-sensitive TIRF microscope and magnetic tweezers.Work published in Cell, PLoS Biology, and Nano Letters. -
