Responsible for global Inquiry to Order processes and systems following GE's acquisition of Dresser. Implementation of Salesforce.com, pricing, quotation and order entry covering both complete equipment and aftermarket.

- Utilized Oracle Configurator, iStore and HTMLQuote to improve internal order entry cycle times and enable self-service order entry by our channel partners. - Supported growth in revenue from $345m (2004) to $738m in 2009. - Replaced ERP systems in five factories- three converted to Oracle’s eBusiness Suite. - Drove global rollout of quotation software utilized by our sales force and channel partners.

Responsible for information systems in support of the agricultural business unit serving the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand markets. Dual reporting relationship to the corporate CIO and to the business unit leader.

Responsible for all aspects of information technology used by dealers globally, including strategy, business systems development, telecommunications, and support functions. This included 28 people globally and $2.8m in annual budget. Exceeded objectives for reducing dealer telecommunications expense and reduction of systems maintenance expenses.Used Internet technology to reduce costs, increase the frequency and timeliness of communication, and maintain relationships with customers between equipment purchases. Siebel-based CRM tools are fully deployed across four brands in North America and Australia.Launched common dealer order management system across our two major agricultural brands in Europe. Achieved $2+ million dollars in annual savings in commercial back-office processes.Delivered dealer-based tools to drive common parts and electronic settlement systems across our two major agriculture brands in North America.

Provided Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Dealer/Channel, and Sales and Marketing Information Systems serving business unit clients located in North America. This includes 11 production assembly and manufacturing plants, 1400 dealers and corporate staff functions.- Extension of supplier extranet to include warranty cost recovery, online accounts payable status, and cost reduction incentive tracking capabilities. Drove $4.2 million in annual cost avoidance through recovery of warranty costs associated with purchased parts.- Significant role in the selection and implementation of an Ireland-based, in-house off-shore systems development center. Transitioned support to Ireland for several computer systems without staff morale or turnover issues. Created and maintained a positive, effective work environment between the North American and Irish locations.- Developed innovative commercial reporting systems that set new benchmarks for complete reporting of sales allowances and profit calculation. Incorporated all elements of seasonal/volume dealer bonuses, commercial field staff incentives, and discounted customer finance rates and incentives. Several long-entrenched business practices were modified or eliminated altogether based on our getting a complete, concise view of these equipment sales.- In partnership with several primary dealer business systems providers, co-developed equipment rental business practices and supporting information systems for our construction equipment business.

Led people and systems supporting worldwide product development, manufacturing, and logistics operations. Staff was based on three continents, plants located in 5 countries, and 3 product design centers.- Developed and implemented design collaboration tools using a supplier extranet to exchange drawings, design specifications, and shared whiteboard applications. Surpassed expectations for cycle time and speed to market improvements.- Implemented Master Production Scheduling and demand planning systems in 2 acquired operations, one in Eastern Germany and the other in Austria. Interfaced these acquired systems to global order processing, engineering release, and corporate financial systems. - Implemented Pro/Engineer suite of design tools and Framemaker-based technical publication systems at 4 acquired companies located in North America and Europe.- Directed numerous intranet/web-based applications for plant-level production metric reporting, corporation-wide demand planning and scheduling, and report publication using Cognos software.
