• As the Polymers operations engineer on a top tier COMAH site managing safety, production and logistics involved with Polypropylene manufacturing.my current responsibilities include;
• Provide daily leadership, guidance, and instruction to the shift operating team to ensure the production schedule is met with the correct volumes.
• Develop and audit Operating Documentation i.e. OI's, Operating envelopes, workpacks, Toras, Oras, LOLC register.
• Undertake Asset level 1 audits.
• Active Member of site on call incident management team (IMT)
• The point of Contact out of hours by shift teams to advise on breakages on plant or changes in instruction. Interventions made where appropriate to minimize losses in availability or time etc.

• My role includes me to be the asset operations engineer for a Jetty tank farm on a top tier COMAH site managing the safety, storage and logistics involved with toxic chemicals, pressurised LPG and refrigerated LPG.
• Provide daily leadership, guidance, and instruction to the shift operating team.
• Develop and audit Operating Documentation i.e. OI's, Operating envelopes.
• Undertake Asset level 1 audits as per the Asset audit schedule
• Determine the correct priorities have been set and understood by the maintenance and technical teams to ensure the shift operating team can achieve and deliver the Shipping and maintenance plans
• Provide leadership/support to shift operating team when managing unplanned failures.

My role included typical process engineering tasks and operations support for a top tier COMAH site. In this role i was based on site, working within the Refinery Tankfarm. The work was driven by largely by the Buncefield incident and subsequent PSLG compliance requirements as well as a business requirement to sustain a constant volume of storage through.
