Craig is a very experienced Professional Engineer who has had rewarding and successful career in the Royal Australian Navy. He has more recently undertaken a number of challenging management and leadership roles at senior levels within the Maritime environment. His key attributes are:• Senior level Defence leadership and management experience.• Engineering leadership experience from "coal-face" tactical level to strategic.• 27 years experience as a qualified, practicing Naval Marine Engineer in the RAN (30 years total in RAN) and more recently, 6 years in the Commercial Maritime environment. Previously Chief Engineer Amphibious and Afloat Support System Program Office (AASSPO) (2 years)• Leadership - Armidale Class Patrol Boat Engineer Manager and Deputy Project Director (DMS Maritime - Serco) since May 2013 (Awarded Serco Global award for leadership)• Deep knowledge and experience with Regulatory Systems, particularly in the Maritime domain. • Experience across all elements of the Fundamental Inputs to (Defence) Capability (FIC).• A solid understanding of the way Defence business is conducted.• Demonstrated policy, planning and strategy development capability.• Financial management experience. • Very experienced personnel manager and team motivator.
