Ensure that the stores/warehouse is In good running order, to make sure goods are booked in/out as needed, making sure orders go out to the right company’s and they are happy with how they are packaged.Too ensure that everything is running smoothly and correct in the warehouse/stores.• Making sure that everything is clean and tidy ready for the next day’s work. • To ensure that all goods that come in from customers/manufacturing are all present and correct, and to make sure the office staff know what stock has been delivered. • To make sure that all of the stock cards are up to date everyday so what we have traceability of what goods came in/out each day. • When a dispatch note is bought out from the office that is it packed in the correct way and the correct quantity so that the customers we are shipping out to are happy with the end result. • Making sure every dispatch note has gone out the day it was bought out from the office and has been put through the night freight dispatch manager ensuring that we have a consignment number, full traceability of what we have sent to which customer. • If there is an overseas order that needs a quote to ring around a few different places to try and find the cheapest way to send it, making sure the waybill is all filled in correctly so there will be no mishaps the other end. • Checking the night freight invoices to make sure they are correct so the accountant side of things is all running smoothly.• Maintaining the forklift so it is safe to use each day of work for myself.
