As the General Manager of AFL Cairns, I have two core responsibilities: managing Cazalys Stadium and ensuring the sustainability of local footy. Cazalys Stadium serves as a crucial sporting and entertainment venue, and I focus on efficient operations and attracting diverse events to engage the community. At the same time, I nurture local footy by supporting player development, securing funding, and fostering a vibrant football culture. These responsibilities go hand in hand, as successful events at the stadium contribute to sustaining and growing the local footy scene, and vice versa. My aim is to promote Australian rules football and create a positive impact on the Cairns community.
