Worked in Active Fixed Income across the Global Rates and High Yield teams. •Helped to manage the risk, hedging and cash accounts on the £3.5bn LGIM Global Rates funds, rectifying any issues by calculating relevant trades. •Efficiently ran numerous valuation, risk management and market tracking tasks daily, giving visibility to the High Yield team a platform for effective decision making •Conducted research on High Yield bond issuers and attended road shows and management meetings, looking to assess the credibility of businesses to issue further debt and hence investment risk.•Advanced my macroeconomic and market understanding through daily economic team briefings and targeted research.

Worked within the private equity arm of Legal & General who specialise in mid-market investments.• Tracked company performance, critically analyzed specific company strategy and generated fresh ideas for potential implementation, all the while working closely with the Investment Directors.• Evaluated new acquisitions for LGV's portfolio companies by scrutinizing company information memorandums and conducting targeted research consistent with company growth strategies.• Assessed due diligence pieces, conducted sensitivity analysis on cash flows using a data room and wrote an Investment Preview for LGV and their co-investors as part of a c.£40m acquisition bid.• Conducted other ad-hoc analyses including company profiling, an assessment of their Cycling brand’s online business and an exit-planning analysis for a chain of bars.

Worked in the Talent and Rewards area of the business, in particular the production and publication of their employee surveys.•Compiling, cleaning and validating incoming data and analysing and auditing the data to find useful trends and remove outliers, before sending for publication.
