I have always held a deep interest for the arts, in particular the design of buildings and public spaces. As an avid traveller, I was driven to explore architecture further after a gap year in 2007 where I lived, worked and backpacked extensively through Europe, taking inspiration from the incredible human and urban landscapes along the way. This passion was again reaffirmed when I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to live, work and travel around both Canada and the U.S.A respectively throughout 2011 and 2012.I am able to work in a team, interacting with people, as well as individually if needed through the experience gained in positions I have held in differing lines of work, including architecture.Key interests of mine beyond the design field include: travel, hiking, camping, guitar and sports - particularly tennis. One of my key focuses going into the future is to blend my love of the natural world, the outdoors and architecture in order to put an emphasis on sustainability and environmentally responsible design.
