As senior vice president and head of investor relations, I am responsible for enabling the most effective, two-way communication between bp, its shareholders, and the broader financial community, as well as leading bp's London and Houston-based investor relations teams. Effective collaboration is rooted in an inclusive culture where everyone can bring their true self to work – so I’m especially proud to be co-executive sponsor of our bp Pride business resource group. I am particularly excited to be part of bp during a period of truly ‎transformational change, as we pivot from an international oil company to an integrated energy company, underpinned by our purpose to “reimagine energy for people and our planet.” And I believe that bp has an important role to play in helping the world get to net zero by 2050 or sooner and, while this will present its challenges, it also offers exciting opportunities to create real value.As a husband and a dad to two energetic daughters, it is especially important to me to advocate for, and support in, creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment. So they, and future generations, can thrive in today’s fast-moving and ever-changing world.
