 Responsible for Electrical and Instrumentation construction activities on Greenfield & Brownfield projects within the Oil and Gas facility in Majnoon. Reporting to the Area Superintendent, was responsible for ensuring scope of associated E&I contract packages are completed on schedule and in compliance with project safety standards and specification. Assisting Area Superintendent in administration and follow up of punch list clearance and ensuring the link with the commissioning team. Supervision of contractors, involving Ex Inspections which are recorded on Inspection Test Records. Planning and following 2-4 week look ahead schedule, ordering materials and arranging manpower.  Review of work pack documentation (detailed design, Electrical SLD’s, P&ID’s, ISO’s and vendor drawings) for constructability and implementation of approved design. Working with the field engineering team and assisting with technical query questions and responses and updating red line drawings. Preparing sub-system dossier documents for commissioning handover. Interface with commissioning to ensure construction and commissioning activities meet project requirements. Ensure red line mark up’s (and final as builds) are performed and checked to confirm they comply with project requirement and specification.(Shell DEPs). Monitoring the contractor’s and ensuring they are compliant with the project safety expectations, policies and procedures. Providing contractor’s with technical support and involved with toolbox talks, safety walk downs and PTW meetings. Supporting the ongoing construction activities by displaying a good awareness of HSE issues and imparting that protocol to the HSE site manager for control of the same. Punch listing and handover to commissioning from construction team.
