My career in the oil & gas industry started in 2008 with Technical Heat Treatment Services, I am a Occupational Certified Technician through the Alberta Apprenticeship program. My Career Experiences are in Refineries, Power Generation Plants, Upgraders, Pulp and Paper Mills, Fabrication Assembly yards all over Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan. Most of my career has been working at Power Generation Plants specializing in AWS D10.10, B31.1, B31.3. I have gained experience utilizing Combustion (Gas Equipment) for PWHTs and refractory dry outs, use of induction method for Pre heating and removing of rings and bolts. I have the pleasure of working for one of the most well known and knowledgeable managers in the industry with the best supervisors and crews under him. The skills I learnt and adopted from these experiences have lead me to be the confident Heat Treatment Technician I am today. I worked my way up level by level to Forman, General Forman and now into Supervision and part of the Management team with the skills I have acquired and I continue to grow and learn everyday. Technical Heat Treatment History - Founded in June 1990 in New Brunswick- Expanded to Alberta in 2002 and Ontario in 2003- ISO Certified with BSI- Full-service Heat Treatment Company with electrical resistance, combustion and induction capabilities - Service both Maintenance and Turnarounds- Companies we work with include: GE, Suncor, Esso, Irving Oil, Shell, TransAlta, Enmax, ConocoPhillips, NB Power, Irving Shipbuilding, Nuclear Work.
