Main player in start up ‘’Go Live’’ communicating with all parties to insure stock ,planning, parts, rosters and OOH got communicated on a daily basis to all managers and engineers across British Gas. Sharing best practise and knowledge around metering on Electric and Gas including customer focus on complaints and SLA’s.Worked closely with the new safety team to insure all the engineers across the whole of the country on go live had the correct tools and PPE and knowledge of local DNO’s to carry out work and skill levels, this was also cascaded down and implemented within the BG academy’s. Looking after 21 Engineers within the Kent area insuring productivity is kept and all general housekeeping surrounding Smart Metering main drive being the Champion of Health and Safety.

In charge of 54 electric meter workers and 102 Gas meter fitters and 10 line managers throughout the south and London areas.Conducted and overseeing electric training and testing on single and three phase metering.I also over looked 8 admin staff within the office at High Wycombe Bucks insuring the planning and staff resources was kept to a high standard. General tasks of insuring the Gas and Electric metering contract run smoothly and intervened at points with our customer’s British gas and On-stream to insure maximum delivery was achieved for the business looking at SLA’s and all KPI’s. Daily duties: • Pay roll adjustments as engineers was on price per job• HR duties• Health and safety• Logistics coordinating meters and delivery of consumables to the engineers.• Staff Holidays• Staff Sickness procedure I was averaging 13,000 gas meter installs per month and 6,000 electric meters though out my teams. Achieved my Gas Qualifications in May 2009 CCN1, MET 1 & 4 Smart trained and obtained from British Gas and On-stream accreditation for on-going training in-house and to carry out audits.
