As Deputy Chief Innovation Officer of Deloitte LLP and Senior Managing Director Deloitte US Innovation, I work with Deloitte’s senior leadership to shape and execute the firm’s overall innovation strategies and counsel Deloitte’s businesses on their respective innovation agenda. I lead efforts to accelerate Deloitte’s digital transformation and create the firm's "Future of Work" and drive incubation of new businesses and market offers, I lead a diverse innovation team - consisting of strategists, product managers/developers, data scientists and technologists - that serves as a firm-wide capability to support myriad business transformation and new business growth initiatives.Currently, I am focused on establishing and scaling efforts to incubate and transform business offerings through the use of artificial intelligence, intelligent/workflow automation technology and more nascent technologies. I am also responsible for cultivating relationships with an ecosystem of technology startups to work with Deloitte on new solutions. I have authored numerous articles on how emergent technologies are and can be used to change how work is done. My recent publications for Deloitte Insights have focused on data science, robotic process automation, blockchain, cognitive technologies and artificial intelligence.Prior to this I was a leader in Deloitte's strategy development group advising the CEO, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and other leaders. And before this I consulted with leading companies and governments focused on strategy and innovation.Prior to Deloitte, I served in a number of policy, planning and technology positions in the New York City Mayor's Office.
