Responsible for Pharmacy manufacturing operations to include the development, startup and oversight of the 503b registered Pharmacy IV Compounding Outsourcing operations. Additional scope of my role includes Pharmacy Unit Dose Repacking located in Springfield MO. Consolidated Services Center. Develops policies and procedures to assure all federal and state regulations are strictly adhered to, maintains all records and performs quality assurance validation in coordination with the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs personnel. Assures standards are met for packaging services.Assures quality manufacturing output of pharmaceutical compounding, liquid dose fill, repackaging and bar-coding operation across the Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy) including the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Provides guidance to the pharmaceutical distribution operation and customer service departments as it relates to pharmacy knowledge. Report directly to the Executive Director of Manufacturing, ROi. Report indirectly to the Director, Performance Improvement Pharmacy Services for Mercy Healthcare. Responsible for additional objectives that are collectively established by the Vice President Pharmacy operations, Supply Chain Management and the Director of Performance Improvement, Pharmacy Services. Routinely interact with the following: Mercy System and local facility pharmacy co-workers, ROi co-workers, Product sourcing and contracting, multidisciplinary facility and Mercy System committees, professional organizations and selected vendor representatives. Supervise and direct all CSC pharmaceutical manufacturing resources associated directly with packaging and filling activities in the clean room operations. This includes pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other employees supporting the packaging operation.
