I am experienced in leading and managing a team of intelligence analysts and ensuring the provision of high-quality intelligence products in support of specialised investigations.I have over 35 years experience in the intelligence field covering military and law-enforcement environments. I have worked at every level of policing (local, regional and national) and in the investigation of serious and organised crime. I have provided analytical and intelligence support to numerous policing operations, including the investigation of transnational drug importation syndicates, national and transnational drug manufacturing and distribution networks and counter-terrorism, as well as serious misconduct and corruption in state police and government sectors. I have a thorough understanding of contemporary tactical and operational intelligence practice and methodology (including using IBM i2 Analyst's Notebook and the use, design and administration of IBM i2 iBase databases) and have been able to consistently apply this at a high level of skill in a wide range of operational areas. I have an excellent understanding of investigative techniques that can be employed in the investigation of a wide range of criminal, anti-corruption and administrative investigations; this includes both overt and covert investigative techniques and strategies.
