Reporting to the Manager Fabrication – Overseas, the Offshore Fabrication Superintendent provides leadership and direction and coordinates and manages all overseas based fabrication personnel including Workshop Managers, Logistics Coordinator, Quality inspection personnel and sub-contracted inspection teams.The Offshore Fabrication Superintendent interprets schedules to ensure that realistic milestones are established, required activities occur on time and that interface between activities is maintained.The Offshore Fabrication Superintendent ensures adequate resources are in place to coordinate and monitor all aspects of China based production to achieve the desired results for quality schedule and delivery and within budget in terms of labour and materials.The Offshore Fabrication Superintendent is responsible for assessing sub-contractors in reference to workload and achieving site schedule targets. They are also responsible for checking and allocating compiled work-packs to the correct sub-contractor.
