Mr. Pedersen brings an extensive resume of leadership, management, and policy experience to his work. A distinguished alum of the LBJ School of Public Affairs, Pedersen has served on the staffs of noteworthy Texas leaders: Bill Hobby, Bob Bullock, Gary Mauro and Jim Nugent. He has served in numerous management and leadership positions since the mid-1980s and led significant organizations since 1991 in the public, private, and academic sectors. He is a regular guest lecturer in the classroom, specialized programs, and at conferences. He served as the initial director and as an instructor in the Executive Master in Public Leadership Program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. He is also writing a book on public and nonprofit leadership tentatively titled “Doing Good Well: Public and Nonprofit Leadership Essentials.”
