I am a skilled industrial Automation Technician with many years of experience in the manufacturing field. Technical skill examples: valves, transmitters, control systems and PLC. I collaborate well with people in all positions: engineers, vendors, coworkers, management, and operators. I have a lot of experience working on cross functional teams. Project examples of these teams include large capital machine upgrades, Honeywell control system conversion, High speed camera system installation and many cost reduction projects. Along with creating a quality product, my focus includes safety, efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. My leadership experience outside of work includes coaching and mentoring sports teams and individuals. Developing a strong work ethic and motivating others to be their best is my passion.

  As an Automation Technician on the paper machine I supported all areas of the plant. I was a part of many cross functional teams that designed and implemented multiple process improvement projects to increase quality, runnability and reduce cost. I teamed with engineers on captial upgrades and equipment modifications. I planned and scheduled work orders, collaborated with vendors and suppliers, managed store room parts and critical equipment spare parts. I hired, trained and mentored many new technicians. In my early years, I was a production technician on the paper machine and worked my way up to Lead Operator of the paper machine.
