here I have been trained to use many different types of heavy machinery e.g laser cutter, metal bender, spot welder, grinding machine, industrial saw, linisher, industrial drill (36mm+) also trained how to read and extract information off of detailed engineering drawings I am a welder at haswells and my responsibilities are to build and manufacture orders from customers within spec of half millimetre by cutting, grinding, linishing, welding and other things depending on the order keeping a clean and tidy workplace and working safely.

Duties included organising the warehouse numbering and labelling stock, building and presenting stock, wrapping and delivering stock to customers, serving and advising customers, using my own initiative and improvising when stock is incorrect or incomplete, cash handling using electrical till.

Duties included checking and repairing equipment every day before start of work and after, providing customers with a helpful, reliable and friendly service, working to a tight schedule and to a high quality of work.

Duties included meeting, greeting and advising customers, negotiating with customers for a competitive price, repairing vehicles: cars, vans, lorries, motorbikes, scooters, boats, jet ski’s. Keeping tools organised and well looked after, using high pressure gas, power tools and overall running a tight ship.

Duties included , meet and greet customers, provide health and safety brief, marshalling the environment, cleaning repairing equipment (I.E masks, guns, overalls, gloves, boots) also working with high pressure gas, preparing food for customers. Cash handling using electric till and recording on computer database, taking part in prize giving and debrief at the end of the day, clean, check and replace equipment for future use.
