Professional Experience:Upon graduating from high school, I worked in various construction related professions, including working in a concrete manufacturing unit plant, working as an apprentice commercial carpenter, and managing a clean and seal crew for a deck building contractor. I found that I liked certain areas of each employment, but none seemed to fit my abilities. However, through my experiences, I found that I enjoy working in the construction environment, and am successful in, positions involving greater involvement with people.I prefer an opportunity offering growth and advancement based on individual dedication and hard work. My background shows that I have extensive experience in an array of labor oriented jobs, and I would like to utilize that experience in a position that will also allow me to use my communication and negotiation abilities. I have the ability to motivate and encourage my peers and speak knowledgably and confidently to my superiors. My record reflects that I have accomplished much in the workforce as well as academics. In addition, I am a diligent, punctual, and reliable person with a strong drive. My experience and education have provided a solid foundation for my understanding of the operations and business of the construction industry. Also, I acknowledge the fact that the success of the project relies on effectively managing time, cost, quality, and above all safety. Goals:My main goal after graduation is to become employed by a successful company that will offer me the chance to work on exciting projects and provide the opportunity for career and personal growth. Additionally, I am highly interested in sustainable construction and plan on pursuing a career with a company that shares the same interest.Specialties: Microsoft Word,Excel, powerpoint, Autocad,
