The Deputy Director People Management Branch works closely with the Branch Director to support the executive and Divisional staff within the Directorate to enable the strategic goals of the organisation. The Deputy Director is also responsible to lead a team that focuses on Workplace Behaviours and the provision of legislative advice to all staff to ensure the delivery of Government and community expectations.

The Senior Director within the People Management Branch is responsible for managing staff within the branch to provide executive and staff with complex human resource advice. This includes managing misconduct and underperformance processes, interpreting legislation and supporting staff wellbeing. The role acts as the deputy to the Executive Branch Manager while supporting the directorate through culture change and other change managemnent strategies. The senior director is also responsible for representing the directorate at judicial and quasi-judicial enquires involving staff and ex-staff.
