At Nike, I led the Business-to-Business Internet team — an initiative focused on connecting small businesses with Nike’s ordering systems. At the time, small businesses ordered products from Nike via phone and fax. Nike needed a better, more sustainable solution.My team of 10 developers built a full-featured internet commerce application allowing Nike partners to shop Nike products, place orders, track inventory, and reconcile transactions. Within 10 years of the launch, the solution resulted in billions of dollars in online sales.

A joint venture dedicated to developing one of the earliest movies-on-demand products.I managed the implementation of one of the earliest forms of Movies-on-Demand for Tele-TV, a joint venture between Bell Atlantic, Pacific Bell and Nynex. I was responsible for a team of software engineers who developed the communication between an HP/Oracle video server at the central office and set top boxes in the home, allowing users to navigating between movie titles and descriptions, starting, and stopping movies, bookmarking positions, etc.
