Full-stack Software DeveloperCurrent stack: Typescript, React, Postgres (Remix)While pursuing my Mechanical Engineering degree, I discovered a passion for computer science, which led me to transition into the tech industry upon graduation. My career began with building custom websites for clients, which soon evolved into a specialization in Shopify theme development. This foundation paved the way for my most recent role as a full-stack developer at Shopify, where I thrived in the dynamic environment specializing in React, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Remix, and Typescript.In my recent years at Shopify, I’ve been part of teams responsible for building and maintaining critical tools for both our Customer Support teams and merchant-facing applications. My work has spanned from refactoring legacy Ruby on Rails APIs to developing new chat support apps using Typescript, React, GraphQL and modern frameworks like Remix. I'm passionate about building delightful UIs with the user in mind, while contributing to projects that reduce complexity, improve maintainability, and drive business goals.Additionally, since the AI revolution I’ve thoroughly enjoyed exploring the world of prompt engineering, and have gained valuable experience leveraging OpenAI APIs in our quest to develop new innovative solutions that significantly enhanced the experiences of both our customers and internal support teams.
