This is a small cooperative company set-up to manage a number of sites hosted by myself and friends. Over time this has transformed into an opportunity to provide small scale website development separate to hobby coding.My primary role is to provide technical support as and when issues arise. I also get involved in any technology needed to keep things running smoothly such as backup scripts or the processes involved in switching servers.

Comol is primarily a Salesforce consultancy where I worked as a consultant / developer. My role was to build custom solutions as per business needs in the Salesforce platform, ensuring I fully utilised existing features where possible to leave the client with a maintainable solution. I also worked on a number of 3rd party integrations which involved transferring or syncing data between other systems already in place. I also got involved in demonstrations to clients of work completed and constantly engaged with the client to both manage expectations and to ensure they got the right solution for them. As part of the deployment phase I also worked on data mapping and merging in existing data.This role ended prematurely due to the business making me redundant due to financial issues from their side. While it was disappointing to leave so early, it was very interesting to re-skill into Salesforce and I certainly learnt a lot that I could take into other developments.

I am involved in a fairly wide range of development duties within the company. Most of my time has been spent working on a selection of large web applications (both full refresh and RIA) to manage clients customers, project management, personnel, time keeping and document control.Some of these applications have been working on as part of a team where others have involved more autonomy when it comes to the database and application design as well as the architecture and construction of the systems.I also get involved in the maintaining of the servers, development hardware, a series of smaller utility applications and an older C# and VB.Net based CMS.

RPM mainly did agency style web design and development with a particular focus in the recruitment industry.I was responsible for building a number of large scale systems from start to finish such as a number of e-commerce sites, an on-line catalogue with very custom search and filtering technology, a reverse auction car site, a file manager and photo gallery and even a piracy alert system with plug-in architecture.I also did updates and additional development, enhancements and bug fixes to existing systems and legacy code including a recruitment CRM, job board technology and a number of specialised e-commerce sites as well as any other technologies deployed by the company that needed work done on it.

I work on the Imaging team under the GPC Tech group. Most of my work was deeply rooted in MSSQL backed systems digging out records, writing import and clean-up routines and 2nd tier support to users when issues occurred with the systems.
